☁ Fire Safety is Paramount

Currently, it is the peak fire season between spring and summer. To further implement the spirit of the "Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Strengthening Grassroots Fire Prevention Work" (Guo Ban Fa [2026] No. 6) issued in 2026, and to effectively strengthen the safety awareness of all employees and solidify the foundation for emergency avoidance and self-rescue, TEAO Technology successfully conducted its annual fire emergency evacuation drill on the afternoon of April 28th, themed "Preventing Fires Before They Start: Safety in Mind." This activity was led by the company's administration department, with all employees actively participating. The aim was to test emergency plans through practical exercises and to put the safety principle of "prevention first, combining prevention and firefighting" into practice.

📞 TEAO Safety Alarm Sounds!

The alarm bells ring, assemble quickly.

At 4:00 PM, the drill officially commenced with a sharp, resounding fire alarm echoing throughout the building. The scenario simulated an "electrical fire" in the company's fifth-floor office area, with dense smoke triggering the intelligent smoke detectors and spreading rapidly.

The company's emergency command center immediately activated its Level 1 response mechanism, cutting off non-fire-fighting power. Guided by safety evacuation instructors from each department, all participating employees responded swiftly, strictly adhering to fire evacuation protocols. They immediately dropped their work, bent low, covered their mouths and noses with damp towels, and quickly evacuated along the designated fire escape routes to the assembly point in the plaza below. The entire process was tense yet orderly, with excellent teamwork; all participants in the office building were assembled within the allotted time.

Simultaneously, support troops quickly took their positions.

After the alarm sounded, the company's mini fire station team responded swiftly, donning full gear and arriving at the "fire point" within minutes. They began initial firefighting, immediately connecting fire hoses and using outdoor fire hydrants to spray water and extinguish the fire, effectively preventing its spread to the server room and R&D laboratory.

🔥 Real Fire Practice, Technology as Safety Guarantee After everyone safely evacuated to the assembly point, a rigorous fire safety training session commenced. Instructors provided in-depth analysis of recent fire incidents, explaining fire prevention, initial firefighting techniques, and common hazard identification, emphasizing the practical training concept of "real fire, real water, and real actions."

In the fire extinguishing skills training session, specifically addressing the unique scenario of the precision equipment in the TEAO Technology R&D Center's laboratory and data center, the instructors demonstrated key points of using a gaseous fire extinguishing system (heptafluoropropane) and protecting integrated circuits, as well as the standardized operation of carbon dioxide/dry powder fire extinguishers. This aimed to prevent secondary damage to high-value electronic equipment caused by traditional water extinguishing methods. The instructors also led the on-site staff in reviewing the four-word mantra for fire extinguisher operation: "lift, pull, grip, press."

In the practical training session, a pre-set combustion barrel was ignited to simulate a sudden fire. Participating staff representatives enthusiastically took turns practicing with fire extinguishers, following the standardized procedure of "standing upwind, aiming at the base of the flames, and quickly advancing the spray." With a burst of white dry powder, the simulated fire was quickly and accurately extinguished. Through this immersive experience, everyone enhanced their practical psychological resilience and mastered fire extinguishing skills.

🙌 Be Prepared for Danger, Build a Strong Barrier

At the end of the exercise, the company's general manager reviewed and summarized the activity: "Fire safety is the lifeline and bottom line of an enterprise. We at TEAO must not only lead in technological innovation, but also deliver a perfect score in safety responsibility. Every drill is the highest respect for life." He emphasized that all units should establish a hierarchical and position-based fire safety responsibility system, improve fire safety management systems, complete permit procedures, and organize daily fire prevention inspections and fire training drills.

Safety is paramount; prevention is better than cure. This exercise, combining theoretical training with practical drills, comprehensively covered core subjects such as fire alarm, personnel evacuation, initial fire extinguishing, and fire inspection. It not only tested TEAO Technology's organizational and coordination capabilities and response mechanisms in dealing with sudden fires, but also provided all employees with a vivid and essential life education lesson.

Looking ahead, TEAO Technology will continue to prioritize safety management, routinely conduct fire hazard inspections and safety training, and continuously optimize its safety management systems and processes to build an unbreakable "firewall" for the company's scientific research and production development and the safety of its employees' lives and property.
